Competitors from 18 nations will compete in the two Para Alpine Ski World Cup slaloms on the Ganslern slope on 27th and 28th February. Women and men will race in the "standing", "sitting" and "visually impaired” categories. Admission is free.

The World Cup has returned to Kitzbühel and just a glance at the list of participating nations promises a colourful international line-up. Athletes from 18 countries will be taking on the challenge of the Ganslern Slope in two slalom events on 27th and 28th February - including Australia, Chile, Finland, Great Britain, the Netherlands, New Zealand, as well as France, Germany, Italy, Sweden, Slovenia, the USA and Austria. France is sending the largest delegation (eight participants), followed by Germany (seven), the USA and Austria (six each).

Women and men will compete in the "standing", "sitting" and "visually impaired" categories and - as is customary - in two heats. The races start on both Monday and Tuesday at 10 and 13 hrs respectively. Fans are very welcome to join them alongside the Ganslern Slope! Food and drinks will be available at the Red Bull Zielhaus. Both races will be streamed live on hahnenkamm.com/paraski/ and ORF Sport+ will also be broadcasting live.

Information for the teams

Kitzbühel’s legendary slopes (as well as the town) are a hive of activity these days. A corporate race event on Saturday morning on the Ganslern, will be followed in the evening by the spectacular "Vertical Up" contest, in which around 1,000 participants will run up the Streif (18.30 hrs). All participating teams in the Para Alpine Ski World Cup should bear in mind that parking space will be limited around the Race Office at the Red Bull Zielhaus. Alternative parking is available at the Ganslern car park (2-minute walk from the Red Bull building).
