Marcel Hirscher (1^st): “We did a ski test this morning, but the first run still turned out to be a flop. I felt a lot more comfortable during the second run and after Kristoffersen’s disqualification it was a lot easier to give it my all.” Dave Ryding (2^nd): “To be honest, I really didn’t think I could keep up after watching Marcel’s second run. Kitzbühel means the world to me and I’m surprised to have made it onto the podium.“ Alexander Khoroshilov (3^rd): “I’m just happy. I didn’t believe I could actually still make it to the top – I am sorry for Stefano Gross, though, who was disqualified.”
