Team Captains Meeting

During the third Team Captain’s Meeting on Wednesday, team and media representatives were informed about Thursday’s programme, as well as the weather situation on Friday. K.S.C. President, Michael Huber, took the opportunity to congratulate the Ganslernhang Team on their outstanding execution of the Junior Races and described today, Wednesday, as a good opportunity for all athletes to catch their breath before the Race Weekend. Technical Director, Daniel Menestrina, aptly remarked that the racecourse was also given the chance to recover today and is now in excellent shape. Nothing more now stands in the way of the training run on Thursday. FIS Race Director, Markus Waldner, announced that the 2nd training on Hahnenkamm will start at the „original“ race time of 11.45 hrs. According to the weather forecast, the light weather front which is expected to bring another 5 centimetres of fresh snow overnight, should have passed by then. Top contenders, Svindal, Reichelt and Jansrud start with the bib numbers 20, 18 and 16 – the training will be screened live on ORF1.
