First and only start of Ingemar Stenmark (SWE) in a descent in which only 39 out of 60 racers cross the finish line - Stenmark turns 34 - and thanks to his slalom victory in the combination, 2.

Bohumir Zeman is the first Czech (then still Czechoslovakian) to win the combination.
