The poster is dedicated to the city of Kitzbühel

The city of Kitzbühel celebrates its 750th anniversary in 2021. A fitting occasion to dedicate the 81st Hahnenkamm Races official poster design to the celebration.

After a poster was selected that represented both artistic merit and communicative functionality from 1,600 submissions, together with collaborating partner BTV Kitzbühel, the first copy was officially presented to Mayor Winkler. "It is an honour that the 750-year logo of the city of Kitzbühel is on the poster and we have received the first copy," said mayor Dr. Klaus Winkler. "880 artists from 77 countries submitted their designs to this poster competition and it was important for us that the anniversary was included," said a delighted Dr. Michael Huber.

As neither Mayor Dr. Klaus Winkler nor OC President Dr. Michael Huber know now how the health situation will look like in nine months’ time with regards to the international pandemic, the motto in Kitzbühel is to exercise patience and calm for the time being and wish good health to all athletes, officials and ski fans.
