HKR FLASHBACK 1946
The first Hahnenkamm downhill run after the Second World War was won by the local Thaddäus Schwabl, just like in 1937 before the start of the war. The KSC athletes Karl Koller and Anneliese Schuh-Proxauf are victorious in the combination.
The route was improved in the summer by rock blasting, clearing and road construction and for the first time leads over the mousetrap. The former war barrack at the start is now the “start hut”.
