Austria played a starring role at this year’s Hahnenkamm Junior Race in Kitzbühel, with Austria 2 winning the coveted title. Team Tirol finished second, followed hot on the heels by Austria 1. fourth and fifth place went to Germany and Italy respectively.

“The race was a super experience for us. We were able to follow the Downhill training live from the side-lines and the fact that we won, was an added bonus on top“

...reported a very satisfied Johannes Passrugger from the winning team. Junior Race organizer, “Seppi“ Eberl, was also very pleased with the outcome of the race:

“Everyone crossed the finishing line without accident, the race was perfect, I am very satisfied!“

Video wall, grandstand, professional stadium announcer - and all that on the famous Ganslern Slope. The whole experience was perfect for the junior racers.
