Tickets, arrival routes & fan merchandise – Everything you need to know for Hahnenkamm week

25.01.2020

Just like every year, thousands upon thousands of ski fans will travel to Kitzbühel for the Hahnenkamm Races: In order enjoy the spectacle to its fullest, there are a few things to consider. Here’s an overview of the most important information:

Tickets: New office near the racecourse

Those who wish to watch the Hahnenkamm Races live will, of course, require a valid entry ticket: On race days, tickets can be bought at all entrances to the event venue. Access to the event and finish area, as well as to the entire racecourse side-lines is only permitted with a valid entry ticket.

Children and youngsters born in 2004 and after enjoy free admission to the races on presentation of valid ID.

Regular tickets are available in unlimited supply.

Please note: The office for group and fan club tickets, as well as pre-purchased tickets now has a new address. It is located at Hahnenkammstraße 4b (opposite the Hahnenkammbahn cable car station, in front of Hotel Schweizerhof, to the right and in the new wooden building, 1st floor). This means that the ticket office is now even easier to reach: It’s near the train station and immediately in front of the course entrance, avoiding complications when buying tickets.

Arrival routes: A hassle-free journey to the spectacle
Traveling to the Hahnenkamm Races without the bother of traffic jams, stress and time pressure? No problem! In Oberndorf in Tirol (from the Salzburg/Munich direction) and Kirchberg in Tirol (from the Innsbruck direction) you will find official free Hahnenkamm car parks. From there, a “Hahnenkamm Shuttle“ provided by the Austrian National Rail (ÖBB) will transport you directly to the event venue and back every 15 minutes. An additional car park is available in the south of Kitzbühel (20 minutes’ walk from the race).

Best of all: The car park and shuttle train is free!
The train will bring you all the way to Hahnenkamm station. From there, it’s roughly a two-minute walk to the finish area and Kitzbühel’s historic city centre.

Watch a great race AND look great: Official fan merchandise
If you’re a true fan, you’ll dress like one, too. Luckily, the new Hahnenkamm fan collection is now available: hats, snapback caps, sweaters and t-shirts – the selection is huge! On race days, merchandise can be purchased at the fan shop (located within the ticket office). All products can also be bought online at www.hahnenkamm-shop.at. Furthermore, Kitzsport in Kitzbühel also sells the HKR fan collection at their shop.
